The second course is a DIPLOMA in DOCUMENTS RESEARCH, where we study over sixty documents, ranging from Birth Certificate to Cemetery Records. The third course is a DIPLOMA in VISA STUDIES, where we study the visas we process, and also concepts such as "balance of family test", the "family unit", "incentive to return", "waivers", "genuine and ongoing relationships", "limitations on Sponsorship", "assurances", and "bonds", etc.

The basis of most of the study is the documents on LEGENDcom, the Australian Embassy's Information Sheets, and DIAC's "Fact Sheets". We also find the "Immigration Kit" useful, and regularly attend the Australian Embassy's Information Session.

We devote a half day each week to supervised study. To further improve our understanding so that we can serve you better We have various guest speakers to our meetings. They have included:
Lourdes J. Hufana - Director, National Statistics Office (NSO)
