MEDICAL TREATMENT
(Short Stay) (675)
This Medical Treatment visa (MTV) is for persons who wish
to visit or stay in Australia for no more than 3 months:
• to undertake medical treatment (including consultation);
• to receive an organ transplant; or
• to donate an organ.
ORPHAN RELATIVE (117)
This visa is a permanent visa for children from overseas whose parents are unable to care for them. It allows the child to travel to, and live in Australia with an Australian relative.
PARENT (103)
This visa is one of several parent visas that reflect the immigration principle of close family reunion. This visa is for persons outside Australia seeking a permanent visa on the basis of being a parent of a child who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
PARTNER (309 AND 100)
Partners, whether spouse or de facto (both same sex and opposite sex), of:
• Australian citizens;
• Australian permanent residents; or
• Eligible New Zealand citizens,
who apply outside Australia for a permanent visa on the basis of that relationship must, as a prerequisite for subclass 100, hold a subclass 309 visa (application for both visa is made at the same time, using the same form).
