PROSPECTIVE MARRIAGE (300)
This visa is for persons seeking entry to Australia:
• to marry, after their first entry to Australia, the
Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or
eligible New Zealand citizen who is their prospective
spouse, (either party is also called ‘fiancé/e’) and
• with a view to remaining permanently in Australia.
RELIGIOUS WORKER (428)
The Religious Worker Visa (subclass 428) is an occupational visa intended for persons who will be full-time religious workers in Australia.
Religious work is work of a religious nature for which the applicant has had relevant religious training or is undertaking training. The visa is intended for persons seeking to undertake work directly serving the religious objectives of a religious organization in Australia. It recognizes circumstances where a religious organization may need to access specific religious skills not readily available within the Australian community.
REMAINING RELATIVE (115)
This visa is for people whose only near relative is usually resident in Australia and are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens.
This visa requires an applicant to be sponsored by an eligible relative (or your relative's eligible spouse), in Australia.
RETIREMENT (410)
This visa is for persons who:
• wish to spend some retirement years in Australia;
• have no dependants (other than a spouse, if any) and
• are able to be self-supporting in Australia without cost to Australia's social and welfare services.
Sponsorship/nomination is not required.
SKILLED - INDEPENDENT (175)
This visa allows an applicant to migrate to Australia if he has good English skills and has skills and qualifications in an occupation in need in Australia.
This visa uses a points test to select visa applicants with characteristics needed in the Australian labour market.
One does not require sponsorship to apply for this visa.
